So the last couple of weeks we have been preparing for this day. We have got the caravan. We have checked and tested everything. Done a couple adjustments. We have got the caravan and car weighed, and been weighing everything what goes in and out (of car and van). We have done a quick day trip to Innisfail (to check the running gear). Got a few things we think we need. Loaded the fridge. Now it’s time.
We hitch up the car, and then its time to say good bye to everyone.
So what’s the first thing you do when you start a trip?
We head down the coast, and take a quick break at Cardwell.
Then for our first overnight stop, we pull into the Ingham Tourist Park.
