Hi, We are Dennis and Leanne
We are planning on travelling around Australia in retirement .
Dennis
Has been working at ABC Darwin since 2013 as a Broadcast Technologist. He started work as an Electrician in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia in 1979. So it’s time to turn off the alarm clock and hit the road.
Leanne
Leanne has been semi-retired after she was made redundant in 2019.
Plans
5 years ago we started planning what we wanted to do in retirement. We got a car (Hilux), then Covid came along and changed plans. We are still trying to stay on track with our plan to sell the house and get a caravan.
In Preparation for Retirement
We have had a GVM upgrade to the car.
Electric brake controller fitted.
UHF radio fitted.
Replaced the mirrors with extendable mirrors.
The Aux battery will be replaced with a lithium battery.
Also have a few toys too (just incase we need them).
