The day after Dad’s Funeral, we went for a drive to Port Germein, Wilmington, Orroroo, Peterborough, Jamestown, Gladstone and Port Pirie. I remembered a photograph (slide) of Dad’s from 1962 when he was at Port Germein with Mum and her family.
We went for a walk on the jetty. The tide was out and it was really windy and cold, however we still went for a walk to the end of the jetty, well as far as we could go. The last bit of the jetty is closed off, as it has storm damage. I was trying to re-call times that we had come here fishing and crabbing growing up.
